POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University men's tennis team is set for two matches this weekend, traveling to Quinnipiac on Friday at 3 p.m. before hosting Merrimack on Saturday for a 4:30 p.m. match at Sportsplex New Windsor.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes earned a 5-2 victory over Sacred Heart on March 30.
• Senior Nick Suhanitski and junior Thomas Bevan earned a 6-2 victory at No. 1, while sophomore Fateh Singh and graduate student Jose Catala followed with a 6-4 win at No. 2.
• The Red Foxes carried that momentum into singles, winning four of six matches. Catala led the way with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 1. Abella Fernandez added a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 3, while sophomore Anirudh Nallaparaju dominated 6-1, 6-3 at No. 4.
• Graduate student Dante Despontin secured the fourth point for Marist with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 6.

SCOUTING QUINNIPIAC

• The Bobcats are 4-9 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
• Friday will mark the 18th meeting in program history between Marist and Quinnipiac, with the Red Foxes leading the all-time series 9-8.

SCOUTING MERRIMACK

• The Warriors are 2-8 on the season and 1-4 in the MAAC.
• Saturday's match will mark the second meeting in program history between Marist and Merrimack. The Red Foxes previously earned a 6-1 victory over the Warriors on Feb. 7, 2025.
