POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University men's tennis team (11-5, 6-0 MAAC) is set for two matches this weekend, traveling to Fairfield on Friday at 2 p.m. before heading to Lafayette on Sunday for a 12 p.m. match.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes earned a 5-2 victory over Siena on April 7, extending their winning streak to five matches.
• Marist opened the match by securing the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. 
• Senior Nick Suhanitski and junior Thomas Bevan earned a 6-2 victory at the top spot, while graduate student Jose Catala and sophomore Fateh Singh followed with a 6-4 win at No. 3. 
• In singles play, Marist won four of six matches to secure the victory.
• Catala earned a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 1. Sophomore Anirudh Nallaparaju followed with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 4, while Bevan added a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 5.
• Sophomore Gregor Heinemann closed out the scoring with a 7-6 (1), 6-4 win at No. 6.

SCOUTING FAIRFIELD

• The Stags are 5-11 on the season and 4-0 in conference play.
• Friday will mark the 37th meeting in program history between Marist and Fairfield, with the Red Foxes leading the all-time series 29-7.

SCOUTING LAFAYETTE

• The Leopards are 4-7 on the season and 1-3 in the Patriot League.
• Sunday's match will mark the sixth meeting in program history between Marist and Lafayette, with the Red Foxes leading the all-time series 5-0.
