POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University volleyball team earned the Team Academic Honor Roll Distinction from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) on Thursday afternoon.
 
In the 2025-26 school year, Marist volleyball had an outstanding academic year, earning a 3.618 GPA in the fall semester and a 3.861 GPA in the spring semester, for a cumulative GPA of 3.717.
 
The Red Foxes had 13 honorees to the conference All-Academic Team: Eden Bristow, Sarah Bumstead, Sara Dasic, Gabby Flamish, Claudia Kasperski, Mikayla Keefer, Claire Lewis, Taylor Miller, Nikki Patton, Cecilia "CC" Potter-Pessoa, Savannah Smith, Vallane Sneva, and Trinity Woods.
 
The team also had four College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections in Sarah Bumstead, Sara Dasic, Mikayla Keefer, and Cecilia "CC" Potter-Pessoa.
 
The Marist volleyball team is headed into its first season under the new leadership of head coach Annie DeLoid in 2026.
