JERSEY CITY, New Jersey – Marist Volleyball battled Saint Peter's in the middle match of their three-match road trip. The Red Foxes took down the Peacocks in straight sets (25-18, 25-21, 25-14) for their third straight win. Marist is now 7-8 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
The Red Foxes jumped out to an early lead in set one and never looked back on their way to winning the opening frame.
Mallory Reck had six kills to lead the offense, while
Caelyn Dumas recorded eight assists and six digs.
In set two, Marist and Saint Peter's battled down the stretch before the Red Foxes pulled away to win the set. Reck added eight kills to her total, while Dumas added 11 assists. Defensively, Cecilia Potter-Pessoa and
Sara Dasic each had seven digs to lead the team.
The Red Foxes stayed hot in set three to take down Saint Peter's and complete the straight-set victory. In the final frame,
Sarah Bumstead and Reck each tallied five kills to lead the offense. Dumas added 13 assists to her total, while Dasic recorded six digs.

- Caelyn Dumas racked up 32 assists and 15 digs, leading the team in both categories.
