Olean, NY (October, 13, 2001)---The Marist College Women's tennis team (6-0, 3-0 MAAC) beat the University at Buffalo, 4-3, in a match held at St. Bonaventure University.

At number one singles freshman Diana Perachio (Newtown, Conn), defeated Buffalo's Karen Maynard, 6-1, 6-1.

The Red Foxes swept all three matches in the doubles competition. Amanda Doestch (Freehold, NJ), and Perachio won easily at number one doubles, 8-0. At number two doubles Kara Bliss (Burnt Hills, NY), and Kristy Salloum (Lakewood, NJ), defeated their opponents, 8-2. At number three doubles the team of Courtney McGeever (Wickliffe, NJ), and Jennifer Edwards (Baldwinsville, NY), claimed victory, 8-1.

The Red Foxes are undefeated, and face St. Bonaventure University on Sunday, October 14th, at 12 noon.
