POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Four Marist University tennis players were named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators on Wednesday.
 
Caterina Assi, Cloe Clements Sorde, and Ellen Zureick from the women's team were honored, and Jose Catala from the men's team also received the award.
 
The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize standouts on the classroom and on the floor. Eligibility requirements include being of at least sophomore standing athletically and academically, having a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5, and meeting playing time requirements with regard to games played or starts.
