POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) - Rasual Butler scored 25 points and La Salle
overcame an 11-point halftime deficit to defeat Marist 70-64 on Friday night.
La Salle (7-5) shot 64 percent from the floor in the second half and took
the lead for good with a 6-0 run that was capped by a Butler dunk with minutes
left.
Marist (7-3) cut the lead to 61-59 with 1:47 to play but La Salle sealed the
win by scoring the game's final five points.
Mike Cleaves came off the bench to score 21 points for the Explorers.
Sean Kennedy and Rick Smith each scored 15 points for the Red Foxes, though
Kennedy was just 5-of-21 from the field.
