Poughkeepsie, NY-The Marist College women's tennis team rolled past Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), 6-1 this afternoon. The Red Foxes post a 5-0 record overall, 1-0 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).

In singles, Courtney McGeever (Wickliffe, OH), Colleen Kelly (Poughkeepsie, NY), and Tara Dolan (Hopewell Junction, NY) all swept their opponents 6-0 in two sets. Diana Perachio (Newtown, Conn.) defeated Lorena Parra, 6-3, 6-4, while Yana Krugly (Staten Island, NY) beat Marisa Puga, 6-1, 6-2.

In doubles competition, Yana Tikhonko (Brooklyn, NY) and Krugly won 8-0 over Parra and Maria Madina. Kathryn Szymanski (Scituate, MA) and Kelly defeated Allison Baretz and Ali Brown 8-0.

The Red Foxes return to action Wednesday, March 26th, when they travel to New Rochelle, NY to take on MAAC opponent Iona in a 3:00 p.m. match-up.
