Easton, PA-The Marist College men's lacrosse team lost a 9-8 decision to non-conference opponent Lafayette this evening. The Red Foxes are now 2-12 overall, while Lafayette improves to 2-10.

Andrew Walsh (Liverpool, NY) led the Red Foxes with three goals and one assist, while Brian Diele (Stewart Manor, NY) registered two goals. Junior captain Jay Nahama (Hampton, NJ) scored a goal while recording three assists. Brian Schumeyer (Farmingdale, NY) and Chris Rooney (Hicksville, NY) each netted their first goals of the season for Marist.

Drew Weisman led the Lafayette Leopards with two goals in the 9-8 victory.

Bobby Gross (Huntington, NY) made 16 saves for the Red Foxes, while Lafayette's Michael Koch recorded seven.

The Red Foxes return to action Saturday, April 26th, when they host conference rival Siena at 7:00 p.m. in the final home game of the season.
