Baltimore, MD - The Marist College men's lacrosse team started the 2004 season with an impressive win over Butler, 9-7, this afternoon at St. Paul's High School in Baltimore, MD. The Red Foxes are 1-0 on the year, while Butler falls to 1-1 on the year, after defeating lacrosse power Hobart 7-6 Saturday in Baltimore.

Rookie Keith Detelj paced the Red Foxes offensive attack with four goals.

Marist held a 4-1 halftime lead over the Bulldogs.

The Red Foxes are back in action on March 6th, when they travel to Hamden, CT to take on Quinnipiac.
