Women's Track Places Fourth At Met Championships

Junior Alison Keller broke her own school record in the 100 hurdles, anchored the women's record breaking 4x100 relay, and placed 4th in the Long Jump on a very successful day for the women at the Metropolitan Championships at St. John's University.

Sophomore Denise Tumulty placed 3rd and also broke her own record in the 3000 steeplechase while seniors Jenn Rosenblatt and Cheryl Norrris ran excellent season best times in the 1500. Freshman Catie Fargione placed 6th in the high Jump with a near school record effort and fellow frosh Rachel Watson ran a season's best in the 5000.

The relay group of freshman Allison Kline, sophomore Cheryl Fil, Norris and Rosenblatt ran to a solid 5th place finish. Freshman Carrie Hammell ran to a personal best in the 1500.

The Red Foxes will send a relay to Penn Relays on Thursday, April 22nd and will compete at Yale on Sunday, April 25th.
