ALBANY, N.Y.-Lisa Klarmann posted victories at first singles and doubles in leading UAlbany to a 5-2 victory over Marist on Saturday, March 11 in the UAlbany Bubble. Klarmann defeated Inge Le-Grange (Johannesburg, South Africa) in three sets to capture the top singles match. The Red Foxes dropped to 3-2 with the loss.
Kim Weltman, Amanda Hall and Aimee Kern were each straight-set winners for the Great Danes, who improved to 4-1 on the season. Klarmann teamed with Courtney Michels for a 9-7 victory at first doubles. Christina Suarez and Kern added an 8-1 win at third doubles.
Yana Tikhonko (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Megan Gureck (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) registered the singles wins for the Red Foxes.
