POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Marist Director of Athletics Tim Murray has announced the hiring of Jacqueline McDevitt as assistant women's lacrosse coach. McDevitt joins Noelle Cebron's staff after a stellar playing career at Long Island University.
Known in her playing days as an aggressive defender, McDevitt ranked 54th in the nation in ground balls last season. She started every game for the Blackbirds the past two seasons.
"She's a huge asset to our program," Marist Head Coach Noelle Cebron's said. "She's stepped right in and made a seamless entry."
McDevitt, a native of West Deptford, N.J., graduated in 2006 with a dual degree in Management and Marketing. The Marist women's lacrosse team begins its season on Feb. 28 at Lafayette.
