12 Marist Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District At-Large Distinction

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist University saw 12 student-athletes be named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Men's and Women's At-Large Teams on Tuesday, as announced by College Sports Communicators.

The Red Foxes had 12 student-athletes across four programs earned the distinction. Men's lacrosse had the most Marist student-athletes garner the honors with six in Joshua Balcarcel, Jake Deacy, Ryan Jones, Aidan Quinn, Peter Murray and Michael Cassano.

Rachel Dean, and Ella Baumgarten garnered honors for water polo, Anne Shine and Jesse Manger represented women's lacrosse, while Abby Deane and Natalie Ronan earned the distinction for women's rowing.

The 2025 Academic All-District Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined athletic and classroom performances. 

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 8 (women) and July 9 (men).
