POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Marist men's basketball head coach Chuck Martin will appear on MSG Network's Aéropostale College Basketball Weekly show on Saturday afternoon. The show will air live from Madison Square Garden from 1:30-2 p.m. prior to the Aéropostale Holiday Festival.
Marist will face St. John's in the first round of the Holiday Festival on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. The game will follow a contest between Columbia and Virginia Tech, which is scheduled to tip off at 2 p.m. Saturday's winners will face each other in the tournament's championship game at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, while Saturday's losers will meet in the consolation game at noon on Sunday.
Aéropostale College Basketball Weekly is a live show bringing the excitement and energy of college hoops directly to the viewer at home. The series is telecast throughout the college basketball season, running primarily as a lead-in to key college basketball games that are televised on MSG and MSG Plus. The show is hosted by Jason Horowitz and features NBA and college basketball insider Jon Rothstein. MSG high school sports expert Jimmy Cavallo also serves as a regular guest along with local coaches and writers. The show delivers highlights, analysis and breakdowns of all the local teams in the tri-state area, and is telecast live from the lobby of Madison Square Garden as well as from the campuses of the nation's top basketball programs.
