PITTSBURGH, PA. - Junior diver Brian Bolstad (Highland, N.Y.) won the men's 1-meter diving event at the 2010 ECAC Championship at Trees Pool on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. With the win Bolstad was named the Men's Diver of the Meet. The Red Foxes wrapped up at the championship in seventh place with 238 points.
Bolstad finished the 1-meter event with a score of 321.15. Senior Mitchell Katz (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) finished fourth in the same event with a score of 263.30 points.
The Red Foxes took sixth place in the 400-yd. freestyle relay with a time of 3:07.58. The team was comprised of junior Keith Miller (Missoula, Mont.), senior Kevin Quinn (Neponsit, N.Y.) and juniors Steven Vendetta (South Windsor, Conn.) and Joshua Sklanka (Watertown, Conn.).
Navy won the men's championship with 673.5 points, while Harvard took second place with 530.5 points.
Bolstad and Katz will return to action at the 2010 NCAA Zone Diving Championships at Rutgers. The meet will be held from March 12-13.
