GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Marist women's lacrosse team suffered a 22-3 loss at Florida on Wednesday evening. Senior midfielder Morgan Dillon (Freeport, N.Y.) led the Red Foxes with a goal and an assist in the contest.

Sophomore attack Lauren Ciccarello (Wantagh, N.Y.) added an assist.

Ashley Bruns paced Florida with a 10-point night, tallying six goals and four assists. The Gators scored the first six goals of the contest as they jumped out to a 12-2 halftime lead.

Marist fell to 2-3 with the loss; Florida now stands at 4-3.

The Red Foxes will return to action with a non-conference contest at Vermont on Saturday, which will start at 1 p.m.
