STORRS, CONN. - The Marist men's tennis team came down from 3-0, winning the at the final four singles positions, to defeat Stony Brook 4-3 Saturday in a non-conference dual match at the Yale Invitational.

After the Seawolves won the doubles point and at the first two singles positions, senior Matt Himmelsbach (Longmeadow, Mass.), the reigning MAAC Player of the Week, won a hard-fought three set match at the third singles position 6-4, 5-7, 6-2. Will Reznek (Toronto, Canada) then came from behind at the fourth spot to win in three sets, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. Dalen Klassen (St. Louis, Mo.) defeated his opponent 6-3, 7-6 and freshman Joseph Dube (Livonia, Mich.) completed the comeback with a three-set win of his own 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.   

"I was very proud of our team today. This was the biggest comeback I have had in my tenure at Marist," head coach Tim Smith said. "Hopefully this says something about our team starting to mature, especially with a freshman and two sophomore coming up with big wins for us."
