Water Polo Ends Bucknell Invite with Loss to Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pa. – At the conclusion of the Bucknell Invitational, the Marist water polo team split the weekend with a 7-5 loss to Bucknell.

Freshman Amanda Amorosa (Montreal, QC) led the Red Foxes with three goals, one being a five-meter in the second quarter. Also for the Red Foxes, junior Jessica Hamby (Sacramento, Calif.) and sophomore Brooke Else (Lansdale, Pa.) tacked on a goal each.

Senior Yuriria Chevaz (Chicago, Ill.) added five steals and one ejection drawn, while junior Anna-Lena Hathaway (South Pasadena, Calif.) posted four steals and an assist.

Marist is set to compete at in-state rival Hartwick on Feb. 22.
