WEST POINT, New York – The Marist men's tennis team competed against three opponents Sunday afternoon at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center in West Point, New York. The Red Foxes took on Army West Point in doubles and Drexel and St. Bonaventure in both doubles and singles.
HIGHLIGHTS
Rudolf Kurz went a perfect 4-0 on the day as he picked up two doubles wins and two singles wins. Kurz teamed up with
Christopher Gladden to defeat Army West Point's pairing, 6-4. Kurz and Gladden then defeated Drexel's twosome, 6-4. Kurz also won his singles match against Drexel and his singles match against St. Bonaventure.
Christopher Gladden was also perfect on the day, winning his two singles matches against Drexel and St. Bonaventure.
OVERALL RESULTS
The Red Foxes went 2-2 vs. Army West Point, 5-5 vs. Drexel, and 7-1 vs. St. Bonaventure for a 14-8 overall record on the day in matches played.
