VESTAL, New York – The women's swimming and diving team were edged by Binghamton 159-141 on Thursday afternoon. The meet came down to the final event of the day, the 400 yard freestyle relay. Marist's relay team came up short, finishing in third place.

Freshman
Georgeanne Zimmerman led the way for the women, going three for three at the meet. She won the 200 IM (2:12.03), 200 breast (2:27.74) and 100 breast (1:07.80)
Sara Nestrowitz won the 1000 yard freestyle (10:42.91), 500 yard freestyle (5:14.96) and placed second in the 200 yard freestyle (1:58.35)

Lauren Katz and
Esabelle Gervasio traded off first and second place for the 1 meter and 3 meter dives with Katz winning the 3 meter (255.3) and Gervasio winning the 1 meter (241.59). Katz's 3 meter dive was a personal best.

- Marist swept the 1000 yard freestyle with Heather Hartmann and Shannon Gordon finishing second and third respectively.
- The women also swept the 500 yard freestyle with Hartmann finishing second and Melanie Newton taking third
- Georgia Goldman added a first place finish for the Red Foxes in the 100 backstroke (1:00.24)
