- In her first year as a head coach, Coach Leigh Howard has guided the team to improve their MAAC win record, and match their overall win total from 2017 with two games to go.
"I think tonight we put together a really strong performance from start to finish. There were moments through the course of the game where the ball was hard to find in transition, but we did a really good job of finding key moments in the attack and also being tight defensively" lauded Coach
Leigh Howard. "It's really a great feeling to know we've actually secured a spot in the MAAC championship. It means that the hard work we've been putting in these past few months has paid off and we will continue to take things step-by-step until we find out our seed come tournament time. I also think our bench really did a great job bringing the energy on the field and providing a spark when we needed it, too."
The Red Foxes will travel to Hamden, CT to take on Quinnipiac on Saturday, October 20th. Kickoff is set for 12 P.M.
