POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's tennis team is set to compete in the Army West Point Fall Invitational October 26-28.

Lars Schouten competed at the ITA Regional Tournament in New Haven, Connecticut. Schouten took on Cornell's Joseph McCallister, where Schouten would put up a good fight but McCallister would prevail and win both sets.

Teams attending the Invitational are Sacred Heart University, University of Connecticut, NJIT, and St. Bonaventure University. The matches will be played indoors and outdoors with three singles matches and four doubles matches. Each team will be able to play each other in singles or doubles. All doubles will be six game sets and all singles will be 2 of 3 sets with a Super Tiebreaker for the third. There will be an extra team comprised of any players from the other 7 teams so players can get an additional match.

- 10/28 – Marist vs. NJIT, Doubles Indoors, 9 a.m.
- 10/28 – Marist vs. Extra, Singles Outdoors, 12 p.m.
The men will travel to New Haven for the Connecticut State Open November 2-4.
