SCOUTING LA SALLE
The Explorers come into this game with a 1-2 record, coming off of an 18-6 thrashing of Central Michigan. La Salle has a good mix of veteran leadership and underclass talent. Star freshman midfielder Bridget Ruskey leads the team with 10 goals, and is second on the team in points with 11. She trails only senior captain Brittany Edwards. Marist is 0-2 against La Salle all-time.
Players to Watch
Lauren Mazza and
Samantha Mehalick lead the Marist offense, scoring ten and nine goals respectively on the season. The two will need to be at their best to take on a La Salle team that ranks 28
th in the country in scoring defense.
