POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Men's Lacrosse dropped a conference game to Canisius at Tenney Stadium 16-5.

Summary
Gannon Morrison got the Red Foxes on the board first early in the first quarter. But the rest of the half proved to be all Canisius as Marist would not score again until the third quarter. The Golden Griffins outshot the Red Foxes 23-11 in the first half and score eight goals. Marist struggled to contain the Canisius duo of Mathi Boissonneault and Connor Kearnan who finished the game with eight points each. The Red Foxes started to find some offensive rhythm in the fourth quarter from Morrison,
Avery Nesmith and
Joe Tierney but it was too little too late as Canisius walked away with the victory.
