Buffalo, NY- Marist Women's lacrosse travels to Buffalo to take on Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference rival Canisius in a mid-week game on Wednesday April 11
th at 4 pm. This game will be aired on ESPN3.

Last Outing
The Red Foxes won a close game against Quinnipiac last weekend where senior
Lauren Mazza and freshmen
Camille Renaud led the scoring with two goals each. Marist took a 5-1 lead at the half but the Bobcats slowly chipped away at that lead in the second half, coming within one goal with less than a minute left. Quinnipiac won the following draw control and went for the game tying shot, but
Delaney Galvin made the save to take home the win.

MAAC Awards
Camille Renaud was named MAAC Rookie of the Week for the second time in her career. The freshman tallied six goals last week and had a career high five caused turnovers against Quinnipiac.

Scouting Canisius
The Golden Griffins are currently 6-6 overall and 3-1 in the MAAC conference coming into this mid-week matchup against the Foxes. However, they are coming off a tough loss in the MAAC to Monmouth last weekend 14-12. Senior Jen Reininger led the team with points with four goals and two assists and junior Jourdan Roemer also had five goals and a total of 13 shots on cage.

Last Matchup Against Canisius
The Foxes lost to Canisius 18-6 last season at Tenney Stadium, where Marist game leaders,
Samantha Mehalick had three points,
Lauren Mazza had two points, and
Audrey Cerrone had 1 point.

Marist will travel to Fairfield Connecticut Saturday April 14
th to take on another MAAC rival of Fairfield University. This game will begin at 3 pm.
