The Red Foxes improved their record to 9-5 overall and 5-1 in the MAAC with an 18-9 win over Niagara on Wednesday afternoon. Senior
Lauren Mazza led the way with six goals, followed by sophomore

Camille Renaud each added two. Junior
Hailey Wagner contributed 12 draw controls and an assist. Marist's offense exploded for 15 goals in the first half, the most goals in one half this season.

Scouting Iona
The Gaels are 7-8 overall and 2-4 in MAAC matchups. They are coming off of a 12-9 loss to Fairfield on Wednesday afternoon. Maureen Murphy led the team with three goals followed by Katelyn Noschese and Pamela Giordano with two apiece. Kaitlyn Becker and Jenna Tolzmann each added one. Tolzmann also led the team with six draw controls. Christine Gironda led with two assists.

The Red Foxes and Gaels last met on April 22, 2017 at Mazelle Field in Rochelle, NY. Marist won the game 13-9.

Hailey Wagner scored a team-high four goals each and
Samantha Mehalick followed with two. Wagner led with nine draw controls and three assists.

Lauren Mazza currently stands at 98 career points (83 goals and 15 assists). If she gets two points (either goals, assists, or a combination of the two) on Saturday, she will reach 100 career points. The last player to accomplish that feat was Kara McHugh in 2016.

The Red Foxes will honor three seniors before Saturday's game.
Lauren Mazza has shot .471 over her career and was selected to the MAAC All-Tournament Team in 2017. She looks to extend her goal streak to 29 consecutive games and reach the century mark on Saturday.

Morgan Jaycox has shot .412 over her career. She sits at fifth in single season assists with 29. She was selected to the MAAC All-Rookie Team in 2015 and the MAAC All-Academic Team in 2016 and 2017.

Stefanie Wenz has scored two career goals on two career shots, both coming in 2017. She has seven career draw controls, 40 caused turnovers and 63 ground balls. She was selected to the MAAC All-Academic Team in 2016 and 2017.
