Marist Football Set For Spring Game

Saturday’s Contest Set For Saturday At 6 p.m. At Tenney Stadium

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team will hold its annual Spring Game on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Tenney Stadium. Admission is free.
 
Here is a closer look at the game's format, and some facts and figures:
 
Spring Season
Marist began Spring Practice on Tuesday, April 3. The Red Foxes held 14 practices prior to tonight's game.
 
Picking The Teams
The Red and White teams were selected in a draft prior to Friday's practice, A total of 76 players will suit up for the game. White will have 36 players, while Red will have 34. The six active defensive linemen (Enmanuel Soriano, Colten Katcher, An­tonio Hroncich, Mark Gordon, Jacob Abill, and Joshua Goodson) will wear black jerseys and play for both teams.
 
Rules
The game will use a standard game scoring format. Kickoffs will only come at the start of each half. A running clock will begin with the start of the first scrimmage play of each quarter, and will only stop after PATs and for injuries. There will be a two-minute break after the first and third quarters, and a five-minute break for halftime.
