Marist downed Monmouth 14-3 to start conference play 1-0 on Saturday. The Red Foxes held the Hawks scoreless in the second half while adding eight more goals to extend their lead.
Hailey Wagner led the team with six points from two goals and four assists.

MAAC Player of the Week
Delaney Galvin picked up MAAC Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week award. The freshman had 17 saves and a .850 save percentage against Monmouth. Galvin is currently third in the nation in saves per game (12) and 10
th in save percentage (.522).

Manhattan is 3-7 on the season and 0-2 in conference play. Sarah Lang and Molly Fitzpatrick lead the team with 30 and 29 points respectively. Fitzpatrick moved into 15
th place in career points for the Jaspers with a four goal game against Quinnipiac last time out.

Marist took down the Jaspers 16-9 behind a career day from alumni
Olivia Pitonzo. Pitonzo racked up 11 points on a career high of five goals and six assists.

Marist has become dangerous when placed at the eight meter especially as of late. The Red Foxes rank fifth in the nation in free position shot percentage (.542) with Wagner ranking first overall individually with .800 percent.
