Tickets On Sale For Basketball Hall Of Fame Belfast Classic

Marist Men’s Basketball To Compete In Northern Ireland In Late November

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Tickets are now on sale for the Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic at SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. They are available at the SSE Arena Box Office and online by clicking here, and are also available at TicketMaster by clicking here.
 
The Marist men's basketball team will be competing in this prestigious tournament, which will take place from Nov. 29 through Dec. 1 of this year. This year's tournament has expanded to eight teams, and will also include Albany, Buffalo, Dartmouth, LIU Brooklyn, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, San Francisco, and Stephen F. Austin. The eight teams will be divided into two four-team brackets – Samson & Goliath.
 
Here is the Belfast tournament schedule. All times are Eastern.
 
Thursday, Nov. 29
Game #1 – Marist vs. Dartmouth, 11:30 a.m.
Game #2 – LIU vs. Albany, 2 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 30
Game #1 – San Francisco vs. Stephen F. Austin, 5:30 a.m.
Game #2 – Milwaukee vs. Buffalo, 8 a.m.
Game #3 – Consolation Game (Loser of Thursday's Game 1 vs. Loser of Thursday's Game 2), Noon
Game #4 – Championship Game (Winner of Thursday's Game 1 vs. Winner of Thursday's Game 2), 2:30 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 1
Game #1 – Consolation Game (Loser of Friday's Game 1 vs. Loser of Friday's Game 2), 8 a.m.
Game #2 – Championship Game (Winner of Friday's Game 3 vs. Winner of Friday's Game 4), 10:30 a.m.
 
The tournament is presented Sport Changes Life in conjunction with the Naismith Basketball Memorial Hall of Fame and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Partners include Aer Lingus, The Rory Foundation, Basketball Ireland, Belfast City Council, and Velocity Worldwide.
 
The Marist men's basketball team will be in its first season under the leadership of head coach John Dunne in 2018-19.
