The Marist football team reported for preseason camp on Wednesday, Aug. 8, and held its first scrimmage on Monday, Aug. 13. Four Red Foxes were named Preseason All-PFL, and fifth-year senior linebacker Willie Barrett was named to the Watch List for the Buck Buchanan Award.
 
The 2018 season marks Marist's 10^th as a member of the Pioneer Football League. The Red Foxes won a share of the league championship in 2013. Two former Marist football players – Terrence Fede (Buffalo Bills) and Jason Myers (Seattle Seahawks) – are currently on NFL rosters.
