POUGHKEEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team has a change to its 2019 schedule.
The Red Foxes' Pioneer Football League home game against Stetson, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12, has been moved to Saturday, Sept. 14. Marist's bye will now be on Saturday, Oct. 12.
With the change, the Stetson game becomes Marist's home opener. The Red Foxes will now play three straight home games in September, with visits from Cornell (Saturday, Sept. 21) and Drake (Saturday, Sept. 28) following the contest against the Hatters.

The 2019 season will mark Marist's 11th in the Pioneer Football League, and 55th as a program. The Red Foxes finished the 2018 season at 5-6 overall and 5-3 in PFL play, which was tied for fourth place. Marist won a share of the PFL championship in 2013.
