POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist women's swimming and diving won their second meet in a row on Saturday afternoon, defeating the two-time defending champion Fairfield Stags 190-108. The divers put on an absolute clinic, finishing first, second, and third in all four diving events.
With the win, the Red Foxes improve to 3-2 on the season, and 2-1 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference meets. Meanwhile, the Stags drop to 1-6 on the season.
- The women opened the meet with a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. The team of Juliet Nowak, Georgeanne Zimmerman, Veronica Stureborg, and Megan Lasto clocked in at 1:49.38 to lead Marist. This was the team's fastest time in the event this season.
