EDISON, New Jersey – Junior Lars Schouten was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week. This is the first time this season a Red Fox has been nominated and the first time Schouten has received the honor.
 
Schouten helped Marist win its second match in a row with a 5-2 victory over Colgate. Playing in the second singles spot, Schouten defeated Noah Rosenblat 6-2, 0-6, 6-3. He helped his doubles partner Jack Sequerth earn a convincing 6-1 doubles victory over Scott Bickel and Alec Dardis in the third doubles spot.
 
Marist is back in action on Saturday, February 16 at Hofstra. Match time is set for 2:00 pm.
