POUGHKEEPISE, New York – Marist women's lacrosse will have no down time as they host Cornell Monday, March 11 at 3:00 PM at Tenney Stadium.

Marist won a back and forth contest against La Salle 12-11 Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes raced out to an early 6-1 lead but the Explorers rattled off four goals to close the half 6-5. The two teams exchanged leads several times throughout the second half but a goal from
Samantha Mehalick sealed the victory with less than four minutes left in the game.

After dropping two close games to start the season, Cornell won its next three to sit at 3-2 on the season. Like Marist, Cornell will come into the game on short rest after beating Columbia 12-9 Saturday. Caroline Allen paces the offense with 25 points coming from 17 goals and eight assists.

- This is the first meeting between the two teams.
- Mehalick has had three or more goals in all games this season.
- Hailey Wagner recorded her 400th career draw control against La Salle. According to the NCAA record book, only ten other players have recorded this feat.
- Against La Salle, the Marist defense was perfect in containing the Explorers in free position shots, holding them to 0-3.
