Women's Lacrosse Returns Home to Host La Salle

The Red Foxes Will Play Their First of Two Home Games in a Three Day Span

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York-  Marist women's lacrosse returns home after a four game road trip and is set to host La Salle for an afternoon match-up at Tenney Stadium on Saturday, March 9 at 1:00 PM.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Marist fell to UMass 18-8 at Garber Field. The Red Foxes now drops to 2-3 overall this season. UMass went on a 9-0 run to close out the half with a 14-3 lead over Marist. Samantha Mehalick opened the second half with two back to back goals and led the offense with four goals total.
 
SCOUTING LASALLE
La Salle is seeking its first road win to snap a four game losing streak. The Explorers are 1-4 overall on the season. Sophomore Annina Iacobucci led the Explorers with three goals in their last match.

  • Marist is 0-3 all-time against La Salle.
  • Mehalick has scored three or more goals in all games this season. She currently ranks 11th in the NCAA, averaging four per game.
