Men's Lacrosse Travels to Quinnipiac

Red Foxes Look to Go Above .500 Win Percentage on the Season

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's lacrosse team will take on Quinnipiac on Saturday, April 13th. Face-off is set for 12 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT

The Red Foxes defeated Siena 13-11 in an intense game at Tenney Stadium. Jake Weinman led the way with three goals, followed by Vito Musso with two. Eight different players scored in the contest. Jamison Embury led the team with two assists. Goalie Jake MacGregor had 12 saves. Peyton Smith continued his impressive season at the face-off position, winning 21-of-28 and scooping up nine ground balls. For his performance, Smith was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week.                                   

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS

The Bobcats sit at 6-4 overall and are tied with Marist in conference play at 3-1. Quinnipiac fell to Canisius 10-7 on Saturday, April 6th. Will Abbott led the offense with three goals, followed by four other players with one goal apiece. Goalie Nick DiMuccio had 13 saves. Jake Tomsik, Foster Cuomo and Abbott lead the offense with 42, 25 and 25 points respectively.
