The Red Foxes were defeated by #6 Ranked team Virginia, 22-6.
Jake Weinman had a hatrick but it was not nearly enough to keep pace with one of the top offenses.                    Â
Canisius is 8-6 overall and 4-2 in the MAAC. The lost their last game on a heartbreaker last second goal 7-6 to Manhattan but were on a three game win streak before that. The Golden Griffins features a well rounded offense with Mairo Caito and Mathieu Boissonneault tallying 37 points on the season. Jacob Buck is right behind them with 36.

Marist has already secured a spot in the MAAC tournament, hosted at Tenney Stadium from May 2
nd to 4
th. With a win over Canisius, Marist will clinch the number one seed in the MAAC tournament. A win for Canisius will secure a spot in the MAAC tournament and clinch the one seed for them as well.

- Mario Caito and Mathieu Boissonneault of Canisius rank seventh and eighth in the MAAC in goals per game.
- Seniors James Sarrocco and Ralph Sommer have anchored the defense this season, tallying 17 and 13 caused turnovers respectively.
Marist will play in the MAAC tournament seminfinal with seeding and time to be determined.
