Men's Lacrosse To Play Siena Under the Lights

Red Foxes Look For an Important MAAC Win

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's lacrosse team will take on Route 9 rival Siena on Saturday night at Tenney Stadium. Face-off is set for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT

The Red Foxes fell to Bucknell 10-7 at Tenney Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. Jojo Pirreca, Jake Weinman, and Hunter Embury scored two goals each, while Michael Smith added one. Jamison Embury led the team with two assists, while David Moyett and James Lyon added one apiece. Goalie Jake MacGregor had 18 saves.                                             

SCOUTING SIENA

The Saints fell to Quinnipiac 13-10 Saturday, March 30th. Jack Kiernan led the team with four goals. Keenan Cook and Mike Reilly added two goals each. Reilly also led the team in assists with three. Goalie Aaron Lewis had 10 saves.

  • Marist defeated Siena last season 11-8. The Red Foxes have beaten the Saints in the last four tries.
  • Siena leads the conference in goals, assists and points per game.
  • MacGregor boasts a .551 save percentage compared to Siena's Aaron Lewis at .438.
  • Jojo Pirreca has been one of the most accurate scorers in the country with a .412 shooting percentage that ranks 45th in the nation.
