BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, New York - #21 Marist water polo (15-12, 6-1 MAAC) will participate in the St. Francis Invitational on April 6-7. Marist will compete against #18 Wagner (21-8, 6-0 MAAC), La Salle (8-18, 3-4 MAAC) and Virginia Military Institute (14-7, 4-3 MAAC).

- Marist most recently defeated Siena College on March 24 to increase their winning streak to five games. The Red Foxes swept the Seahawk Invite with wins over Villanova, Iona, St. Francis Brooklyn and the aforementioned Saints.
- Senior captain Katherine Tijerina led the team for the weekend with eight goals, five assists and two steals.
- Anais Mathes (nine goals) and Ariana Singer (seven goals, one assist, one steal) contributed stellar offensive performances of their own to lift the Red Foxes to a 4-0 record for the weekend.
- Carsen Horvatich and Marina Hyham split time in the net, making 12 and nine saves respectively.

- Wagner is 21-7 overall and undefeated in conference play at 6-0. Marist fell to the Seahawks on March 15 in a heartbreaker, as Wagner's Kristy Donkin scored the go-ahead goal with less than a second left in the game to earn the 11-10 win.
- La Salle is 8-18 overall and 3-4 in conference play. The Red Foxes took down the Explorers with a season-high 24 goals on March 9, holding La Salle to just five points.
- Virginia Military Institute is 14-7 overall and 4-3 in conference play. Marist topped the Keydets on March 9 by a score of 13-5, with Horvatich blocking 64.3 percent of the opposition's shot attempts.
Marist travels to an invitational hosted by Villanova on April 13-14 for another weekend full of MAAC competition. The Red Foxes will play Siena, St. Francis Brooklyn, Iona and hosts Villanova.
