POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist men's Lacrosse will go head to head with #2 seed Quinnipiac Saturday May 4 for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship. Game will take place at Tenney Stadium at 10 AM. Students are free with a valid ID.

The Red Foxes edged Canisius 11-10 to earn a spot the conference final.
Joe Tierney had four goals while
Jamison Embury had two goals and three assists.
Jake MacGregor brushed off a rough first half and came back to make seven key saves in the second half.

Marist defeated Quinnipiac 12-8 on April 13.
James Lyons and
Jojo Pirreca led the offense with hat tricks. MacGregor was a force between the pipes, tallying 17 saves. Marist held Quinnipiac to one of its lowest point totals of the season and the man down defense held Quinnipiac to 1-for-7 on extra man opportunities.

Marist earned several All-MAAC honors Wednesday evening prior to the start of the MAAC Championship. Head Coach
Keegan Wilkinson was named BSN MAAC Coach of the Year and
Peyton Smith was named Face-off Specialist of the Year. Joining Smith on the All-MAAC First team was
James Sarrocco. Tierney and
Matthew Selts were selected to the All-MAAC Second team. Pirreca and Lyons were recognized for strong freshmen campaigns with spots on the All-MAAC Rookie Team. 14 total players were named to the All-MAAC Academic Team.

Under Head Coach
Keegan Wilkinson, Marist had played in four MAAC Championships with Saturday's contest being his fifth appearance. The Red Foxes last won the title in 2015 at Tenney Stadium. Marist is seeking its third MAAC Championship title with its first coming in 2005.
