Grant Dixon, senior offensive lineman
Dan Wittekind, red-shirt junior offensive lineman
Luke Butera, senior linebacker
Maliek Carr, and red-shirt junior linebacker
Matt Thomson.
Grant Dixon
- Named captain for the second straight year.
- Named Honorable Mention All-Pioneer Football League (PFL) last year.
- Named Second Team Academic All-PFL each of the last two years, and to the PFL Academic Honor Roll each of the last three years.
Dan Wittekind
- Named captains for the second straight year.
- Has started all 33 of Marist's games in his first three seasons.
- Named Honorable Mention All-PFL each of the last two seasons.
- Academic accolades: CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District (2017), Academic All-PFL last two seasons (First Team, 2017; Second Team, 2018), PFL Academic Honor Roll each of the last three years.
Luke Butera
- In his first season as captain.
- Marist's nominee for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team this season.
- Has started at right guard each of the last two seasons.
- Named to the PFL Academic Honor Roll twice.
Maliek Carr
- In his first season as captain.
- Honorable Mention All-PFL last season.
- PFL Academic Honor Roll selection twice.
Matt Thomson
- In his first season as captain.
- Will serve as special teams' captain.
- Three-time PFL Academic Honor Roll selection.
Marist opens the 2019 season, its 11
th as a member of the PFL on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Georgetown. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. The Red Foxes open their home and league schedules on Saturday, Sept. 14 against Stetson. Season and single-game tickets are on sale at MaristTickets.com.
