Men's Basketball Emerges Victorious Over the Gaels

Red Foxes Post Season-High Shooting Numbers to Drive Offense

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's basketball team never trailed in an 83-73 home victory over Iona in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play on Sunday at McCann Arena. The Red Foxes led by as much as 31.

  • Jordan Jones scored Marist's first six points, which came in the game's first 3:03.
  • A 7-0 Marist run, punctuated by a scoop-and-score from Michael Cubbage, gave Marist a 15-8 lead and forced an Iona timeout at the 13:01 mark.
