BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut – The Marist men's basketball team earned a 70-58 victory over Fairfield in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Wednesday night at Webster Bank Arena.
 
The victory was the 100^th for head coach John Dunne in MAAC regular-season play.
 

Summary

• Three-pointers by Michael Cubbage, Tyler Saint-Furcy, and Tyler Sagl in the game's first five-and-a-half minutes staked Marist to an 11-5 lead.
• A 7-0 run gave Fairfield its first lead of the game, as Marist went scoreless for 5:41.

• Sjoberg's three blocked shots were the highest total by a Red Fox this season. He now has 72 career blocks, which moved him into 10^th place all-time in program history.
• Marist's eight-point halftime lead was its largest of the season.
• Marist's 20 points allowed marked the lowest total allowed by the Red Foxes in a first half this season.
• Dunne became the fourth head coach in MAAC history to win 100 regular-season games. He joined Joe Mihalich, Jimmy Patsos, and Tim Cluess.
• This was Marist's first regular-season win at Fairfield since the 2006-07 season.
