BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut – The Marist men's basketball team earned a 70-58 victory over Fairfield in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Wednesday night at Webster Bank Arena.

- Three-pointers by Michael Cubbage, Tyler Saint-Furcy, and Tyler Sagl in the game's first five-and-a-half minutes staked Marist to an 11-5 lead.
- A 7-0 run gave Fairfield its first lead of the game, as Marist went scoreless for 5:41.
- Marist then held Fairfield scoreless for 5:23. A jumper by Jack Cavanaugh at the 1:40 mark gave the Red Foxes a 25-18 lead.
- Marist held a 28-20 advantage at halftime.
- Saint-Furcy hit a three on the first possession of the second half to give Marist its first double-digit lead of the game.
- Fairfield cut Marist's lead to eight, and the Red Foxes called timeout with the ball and four seconds on the shot clock at exactly 6:00 remaining. Two seconds later, Sagl drained a right wing three, was fouled, and hit the ensuing free throw to convert a four-point play. Marist led by double digits the rest of the way.
- The Red Foxes' lead swelled to a game high of 16 twice in the final three minutes.
- Saint-Furcy scored a game-high 17 points. He shot 6-for-8 from the field and 4-for-5 from three-point range.
- Sagl (13 points) and Cubbage (11) gave Marist three double-digit scorers.
- Cubbage grabbed a game-high eight rebounds.
- Tobias Sjoberg gave the Red Foxes four points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots off the bench.
- Marist shot 10-for-21 (.476) from three-point range, while Fairfield was 3-for-11 (.273).
- Vincent Eze and Aidas Kavaliauskas led Fairfield with 13 points apiece. Eze added six rebounds. Taj Benning had 10 points and a game-best six assists.
- Saint-Furcy's point total was a career high.
- Cubbage now has three games with eight rebounds this year.
- Sagl set a career high with four assists.
- Sjoberg's three blocked shots were the highest total by a Red Fox this season. He now has 72 career blocks, which moved him into 10th place all-time in program history.
- Marist's eight-point halftime lead was its largest of the season.
- Marist's 20 points allowed marked the lowest total allowed by the Red Foxes in a first half this season.
- Dunne became the fourth head coach in MAAC history to win 100 regular-season games. He joined Joe Mihalich, Jimmy Patsos, and Tim Cluess.
- This was Marist's first regular-season win at Fairfield since the 2006-07 season.
- Marist is 2-11 overall and 1-3 in the MAAC.
- Fairfield 5-9 on the season and 1-2 in the MAAC.
"It's been a long time coming," Dunne said. "We're just really happy to get the win. The guys put a full game together."
