POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced its revised schedule for men's and women's basketball on Monday morning.
The schedule for the 2020-21 season features a 20-game double round robin conference schedule. Each team will have five two-game series at home, and five on the road. The conference will adhere to a Friday/Saturday playing schedule, with the men's and women's schedules mirroring each other in terms of home and road games against the same opponent. The new format was
announced by the MAAC Council of Presidents on Nov. 6.
Here is this season's conference schedule for the Marist men's basketball team:
- Week 1 (Dec. 11-12): at Canisius
- Week 2 (Dec. 18-19): bye week
- Week 3 (Jan. 1-2): vs. Quinnipiac
- Week 4 (Jan. 8-9): at Manhattan
- Week 5 (Jan. 15-16): vs. Fairfield
- Week 6 (Jan. 22-23): vs. Niagara
- Week 7 (Jan. 29-30): at Rider
- Week 8 (Feb. 5-6): at Monmouth
- Week 9 (Feb. 12-13): vs. Iona
- Week 10 (Feb. 19-20): at Saint Peter's
- Week 11 (Feb. 26-27): MAAC-wide bye week for make-up games
- Week 12 (March 5-6): vs. Siena
The 2021 Hercules Tires MAAC Basketball Championships will be held at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey from March 9-13.
Marist was picked to finish
