POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's basketball team defeated Saint Peter's by a score of 72-61 in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game at McCann Arena on Friday night. The Peacocks entered the game tied for first in the MAAC.

Summary

Saint Peter's scored the game's first seven points, as Marist went scoreless for the first 2:51.
Thanks to a 12-1 run, Marist took the lead for good. In this time, the Red Foxes held the Peacocks without a field goal for over five-and-a-half minutes. Michael Cubbage and Braden Bell scored five points apiece in the run.
