CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts - #24 Marist water polo started off the Harvard Invite with a victory over the hosting #17 Crimson, their first over them since 2011, and their highest-ranked victory since 2018.
In the evening, the Red Foxes dropped a match to Ivy League foe Brown to close the tournament.

- Harvard led by as many as four goals early in the third period, but Marist outscored the Crimson 4-1 in the fourth to force overtime and then took control in the extra periods for the win.
- Viktoria Orlova erupted for four goals, an assist and a field block against Harvard for one of her best games of the season.
- Anais Mathes scored an impressive four times and recorded two assists and three steals to propel the team to victory.
- Myriam Lizotte added two goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime period.
- Justine Castro found the net once while recording two field blocks and a steal.
- India Alter beat the defense once as well.
- Shinae Carrington had a well-rounded game with two assists, a steal and a field block.
- In the first half, Carsen Horvatich recorded three saves and two steals.
- Marina Hyham took over the net in the second half and the overtime periods and stopped five shots for the win.
Marist returns to the west coast to play San Diego State and Azusa Pacific on March 19. Then, they continue their road trip to Arizona where they face Ottawa University Arizona, Arizona State and Pacific.
