POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist Men's and Women's Tennis joined the MAAC for the 1997 season. Since then, the sport has seen an exceptional amount of individual success at the student-athlete and coaching levels and overall team success.
In total, the programs have combined for 16 MAAC Championships and appearances in the NCAA Tournament – 12 on the men's side (most in the MAAC) and four on the women's side (tied for second-most in the MAAC). Both programs established year-long streaks of dominance, with the women's program winning back-to-back titles in 2007 and 2008. The men's program started its MAAC tenure with five-straight conference championships, and most recently won three in a row from 2013-15.
