WEST POINT, New York – The Marist men's tennis team was defeated Sunday morning in a dual matchup against Army West Point. The non-conference opener for the Red Foxes moved their record to 0-1 overall and Army West Point to 1-2 overall.

- Army West Point swept Marist in doubles.
- In the first position Dylan Freidman and Christian Mills fell to Army's duo with a score of 6-2.
- Castillo and Augusto Gonzalez Bonorino fell short in the second position against A.J. Woodman and Jake Huarte.
- In the third position, Jack Sequerth and Carlos Vasquez came up shot against Army's double team of David Gorshein and Daniel Zhou, 7-6.

- The Red Foxes won a singles matchup in the second flight.
- Gabriel Castillo took the win against David Gorshein, 6-2, 6-2.
- In the first position, Friedman fell to Diego Huttepain, 6-3, 6-4.
- The Red Foxes fell in the third, fourth, fifth and sixth position as Army West Point secured the win in singles.
