EDISON, New Jersey - The Marist men's lacrosse team was picked second in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Red Foxes earned 41 points in the poll, ranking behind Monmouth (six first-place votes, 49 points).

Due to COVID-19 last season, the men's lacrosse team played only four of their ten scheduled games. They finished the season with an overall record of 3-1. The Red Foxes only loss of the season came in the quarterfinals of the MAAC Championships, against Canisius with a score of 14-13.

Jamison Embury was named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team as attack. Last season, Embury was named All-MAAC second team, and MAAC All-Academic Team. Jamison matched his career-high with four goals, three assists, and seven points in MAAC Quarterfinals against Canisius.

JT Roselle was also named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team as long-stick midfielder. Last season Roselle was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team. In the season opener last year against Detroit Mercy, Roselle cracked the top-10 on the program's all-time caused turnover list.

The Marist men's lacrosse team is set to start their schedule a week from today, Wednesday Feb. 9th on the road against Rutgers in a non-conference matchup. The game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
